Elizabeth A. Giacobbe, 90, died Saturday at Integrated Health Services of Medford, after a extended illness. The wife of the late Carmelo P. Giacobbe.
Born in Everett, she has been a Medford resident since 1954, she was active in the South Medford Mothers Club and volunteered at the Shriners Burn Institute of Boston. Elizabeth worked for many years at the registry of motor vehicles in Boston retiring in 1975.
She is survived by a daughter Jacqueline Gagliardi and her husband Frank of Melrose, a son Joseph A. Giacobbe of Lynnfiled. Three grandchildren Elise LeBlanc and her husband Andre of Revere, Michael J. Giacobbe of Revere and Elizabeth Gagliardi of Melrose and one great grandchild Christine E. LeBlanc. Also a sister Mary ”Mimi” Lucia of Winchester and a Brother Arthur Staffier of South Yarmouth. Also Survived By Many Nieces, Nephews Great Nieces And Nephews.
The funeral will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral home 306 Main St. Medford, Tuesday April 9, at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner Street, Medford/Somerville at 10. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Friends may visit Monday from 4 thru 8. at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford.
