Pittsfield---- Karmen (Sis Smith) J. Bean Butterworth, 62, of Ingalls road, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones on Tuesday, March 17, 2015.
Sis was born December 29, 1952 in Hartford, Ct, daughter of Everett Lester Smith and Phyllis Mae (Braley) Smith. She was a life member of the Rod & Gun Club, and a member of The Ladies Aux. VFW post #1670. Sis loved all her animals, enjoyed time in her yard and pool, having barbeques, and above all spending time with family and friends.
Sis is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, William Butterworth, three sons; Lester Conway, Richard Butterworth and his wife Heather of WA, and William M. Butterworth of TN; three daughters, Christine Conway of Gilford, Carrie Conway and her fiancé Jay Barton of Belmont, Kimberley Tasker and her husband Mike of Pittsfield, NH; two brothers Robert Champagne and Michael Smith and his wife JoAnne; two sisters Linda Moore and her husband Wayne and Vanessa Morrisette and her husband Jeff; six grandchildren, Aaron Vien, Lucas Conway, Hannah Conway, Jackson Conway, Jazmyne Conway and Izaiah Conway, two great-grandchildren Colby and Sophia Conway and many nephews and nieces. In addition to her parents, Sis is predeceased by a sister, Jennifer Smith and four brothers; Kenneth Smith, Greg Smith, Steven Smith and Everett Smith Jr.
Calling Hours will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm, with a Memorial Service from 5:00pm to 6:00pm using the Carriage House entrance of Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia.
Burial will take place at a later date to be determined by the family in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.
