MEDWAY: Virginia A. (Cull) Mulrey, 92, died peacefully and comfortably at Medway Country Manor on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 following a period of declining health.
She was born in Concord on August 12, 1922 the daughter of the late Raymond V. Cull and Gladys (Hagerty) Cull.
She was the wife of the late Peter J. Mulrey, Sr. who died on April 7, 1982.
Beloved mother of Peter J. Mulrey, Jr. and his wife Patricia Mulrey of Milford and Robert C. Mulrey and his wife Sandra Mulrey of Millis. Grandmother of Kathleen S. Mulrey of Somerville, Peter J. Mulrey of Milford and David S. Mulrey of Brighton. Sister of the late Raymond Cull, Jr., Robert Cull and Ruth Terragno. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Virginia spent her formative years in Concord and graduated from Concord High School. She had resided in Wayland for over 30 years before moving to Hopedale for 31 years and recently in Medway. For many years she was the Insurance Administrator alongside her husband as the owners and operators of the J. F. Hickey Insurance Agency in Milford.
Memorial visitations will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road (Off Rte 30), Wayland.
Private family services and interment in Lakeview Cemetery in Wayland will be held at the convenience of her family.
