Edith E. (Kober) Crockett, 85, of New Bedford died March 17, 2015 at Hathaway Manor Extended Care Facility.
She was the wife of the late Steven Crockett.
Born in Berlin, Germany, daughter of the late Burnhardt and Selma (Winter) Kober, she had moved to Fort Devens in 1960 and had lived in New Bedford since 1968.
Mrs. Crockett was formerly employed as a nurses assistant at Hallmark Nursing Home for many years. She had also worked part-time at Mediplex Rehabilitation Hospital.
Survivors include 3 sons, Jon Crockett and his wife Laverne, of Somerset, Roy Crockett of New Bedford and Eric Crockett and his wife Lorie of Providence; a daughter, Loretta Crockett of Taunton; and 4 grandchildren, Brittany Crockett, Everett Crockett, Willian Crockett and Aja Crockett; 2 great-grandchildren, Elijah and Sophie.
She was the mother of the late Steven Crockett, Jr.
