Grace Colonna, age 86 of Malden formerly of Medford, passed away January 20th following a short illness. She was the beloved wife of the late John Colonna. Born in Italy she was the daughter of the late Maria and Christopher DiChiaro.
Grace was extremely devoted to her family and loved being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Diabetes Association, 330 Congress St., 5th floor, Boston, MA 02210.
Grace is survived by her daughter Nancy Colonna of Malden and a son, Michael Colonna and his wife Elaine of Medford. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren; Maria Forziati of Boston, Lisa Ferraguto and her husband Jimmy of No. Reading, John Forziati and his wife Amy of Wakefield. She is further survived by her great grandchildren; Julianna, Bianca, Anthony and Annabella. She also leaves her sister Maria of Italy.
Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main St. Medford, Tuesday, at 9 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Fellsway, Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford
