Antonio DeForte, 88 of Medford died Wednesday in the Melrose/Wakefield Hospital Melrose, MA.
Born in Maine, he lived over 40 years in Medford and was the son of the late Agrippina (Grosso) and Agrippino DeForte. He was employed by Necco.
Beloved husband of the late Carmela (Manduca) DeForte. Devoted father of Joseph DeForte and his wife Anna, Josephine Moreira and her husband Ronald all of Medford, Maryann Kintner and her husband Russ of PA, Maria Enos of RI. Father in law of the late Wayne Enos. Loving grandfather of Alexander and Maxwell Kintner, Tony and Rita DeForte, James and Christina Moreira. Brother of Andrew DeForte of Maine. Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Saturday at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a Charity of One´s Choice.
