Webster - Doris L. “Tootie” (St. John) Laperle, 75, formerly of 425 Pleasant Street, Worcester died peacefully on Tuesday, January 18 in Lanessa Extended Care.
Her husband Charles H. Laperle died in October of 1994. She leaves a son Robert P. St. John of Webster; three sisters Bertha Lee of Millbury, Eleanor Garriepy of Millbury and Amy Shepard of Worcester; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her daughter Kathleen E. Chamberlain and her brother Alfred St. John of Millbury. She was born in Worcester daughter of Peter and Edith (Knight) St. John and has lived here all her life.
The funeral will be on Saturday, January 22 from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home (www.Royfuneral.com) 12 Hammond Street with a mass at 11 AM in St. Paul Cathedral 15 Chatham St. Burial will be at a later date in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are Saturday from 8:30 to 10:30 AM in the funeral home.
