BIDDEFORD- Norma Eileen Sellick, age 87, passed away on March 12, 2015 in Scarborough.
She was born in Portland, Maine on April 27, 1927, the oldest child of Basil and Everlena (McKenney) Denbow.
As a young girl, she raked kelp and dulse in Phippsburg. She later was a freight worker at Union Station in Portland during WWII.
Norma then went on to work at King Cole and Circus Time Potato Chips, and Bosal Foam near Clark's Pond in South Portland.
She was an active member of the Woman's Auxiliary of the VFW – Post 832 in South Portland.
Norma enjoyed dancing at the Three Arts Dancing Studio in Portland and singing in the Chestnut Street Methodist – Episcopal Church choir as a young girl.
She is was devoted to her predeceased husband- Walter Vose Sellick; and siblings Marilyn and Buddy.
Norma is survived by her children- Bonny Harvey, Richard Sellick, and Scott Sellick; four grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
