LEICESTER: Janet A. (Manion) Coyle, 77, of Leicester, past away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, March 8th, 2015.
Her husband William F. Coyle died in 1986. She leaves four sons; Thomas M. Castonguay and his wife Annette of Sanford, ME, Mark P. Castonguay and his wife Sherry of Leicester, Dennis P. Coyle of Leicester and William A. Coyle and his wife Darlene of Leicester, two daughters; Susan R. Smith and her husband Timothy with whom she lived and Donna M. LaCourse and her husband Derek of Spencer, a step-son Stephen P. Coyle, and a step-daughter Christine L. Bergeron and her husband Norman of Florida, three brothers; Norman F. Manion and his wife Susan of CA, Ronald G. Manion and his wife Kathleen of Falmouth and Michael D. Manion of Leicester and 23 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Coyle was born in Taunton, MA daughter of Norman and Alice (Garceau) Manion. She was a lifelong resident of Leicester and worked at the Hermitage Nursing Home for many years before retiring in 2001. She was a member of St. Aloysius-St. Jude Church in Rochdale. Her greatest joy was time spent with her family and her two best friends, Gail Hardy and Sue Rabidou.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude for the amazing care provided to her by Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, especially Dr. Craig Bunnell, MD, Danielle M. Bowers, PA, Maureen Lynch, NP. Their dedication and commitment enabled her to share more precious time and memories with her family.
The funeral will be held Friday, March 13 from the MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Pius X Church, 1153 Main St., Leicester. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are Thursday, March 12 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
