Mimosa Pereira (85) of Norwood and Portugal died March 10th in the Norwood Hospital after a period of failing health.
She was born in Porto, Portugal daughter of the late Albano and Rosa (DeAlmeida) DeMagalhes. While in Portugal she was a school teacher for many years. Mimosa liked watching her various Brazilian soap operas and enjoying a drink of vinho occasionally.
Survivors include her loving children, Victor, Emidio Manuel, Maria Clara, Fernanda, Jose Manuel, Ana Carla, Paula, Sandra and Luis Miguel.
A Prayer Service will be offered Friday Evening March 13th at 6 pm. Visitation the same day from 5-10 pm. Cremation to follow.
