Helen T. (McLaughlin) Cassidy of Medford died Sunday, March 8 in the Winchester Hospital. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Clafferty) McLaughlin. Helen was a resident of Medford for close to 80 years.
She was the beloved wife of the late James V. Cassidy. Helen was the devoted mother of Helen T. "Honey" Quigley and her husband James Sr. of Medford, and the late James M. Cassidy. She was the loving grandmother of James J. "Quig" Quigley Jr. and his fiancée Valarie J. Messina of Medford, and is also survived by her sister Theresa Harris of Burlington.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Friday, March 13 at 10AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, at 11AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family from 9 - 10:30AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
