Augusta, GA – Ms. Cecile Yvonne Macomber, 53, entered into rest on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at her residence.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Platt’s Crawford Avenue Chapel.
Ms. Macomber worked for many years in the medical field. She was an animal lover and enjoyed taking care of the cats in her neighborhood. Ms. Macomber also loved her Alabama Crimson Tide.
Ms. Macomber is survived by her sister, Michele Rich (Michael) of Aiken; brother, Bryan Macomber of Asheville, NC; her longtime partner, Sedgwick Forrest; her former husband, Marshall Deavers; and her nieces and nephews, Lauren, Hunter, and Abigail Macomber, and Teddy and Ella Rich. She was preceded in death by her parents Frank Gair Macomber, IV and Beverly Mellotte Macomber.
