Matilda (Calzini) “Tillie” Hinden 82, formerly of Pocasset and Needham died on Monday January 17th at the Newton Wellesley Alzheimer Center. Born in Somerville, Tillie had been a resident of Needham for 20 years before moving to Pocasset. While in Needham Tillie was a nurse at the former Glover Hospital in Needham for over 20 years. A Pocasset resident for over thirty years Tillie was very active at her parish at St. John Evangelist. She was the beloved wife of the late Henry Hinden . Loving mother of Peter and his wife Dolores Hinden of Needham. Sister of Joseph Calzini of Richmond NH, Ann Beale of Westboro and Jeanette Donohue of Framingham. Grandmother of Kimberly A. (Hinden) and her husband Stephen Grinder of Framingham and Michele M. and her husband Tim Gillen of Needham. Great grandmother of Connor T. and Carly M. Gillen of Needham.
