Jose Raposo. Age 62. Husband of Maria “Connie” (Correia) Raposo. Residence 244 Brownell St., Fall River, Ma. Died Tuesday at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Arrifes, Sao Miguel, Azores. Son of Evangelina Raposo and the late Manuel Raposo. He was a Fall River resident for 36 years. Before retiring, he was a Laborer in the construction industry. He was a member of St. Michael Church.
Besides his wife of Fall River, and his mother of Portugal, he is survived by Four Daughters: Zelia Quiterio of Fall River, MA, Connie Quiterio of Fall River, MA, Natalie Ricardo of Fall River, MA, Michelle Sousa of Fall River, MA. Four Brothers: Antonio Raposo of Attleboro, MA, Joao Raposo of Portugal, Manuel Raposo of Portugal, Horacio Raposo of Canada. One Sister: Maria Soares of Portugal. Seven Grandchildren and Several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 No. Main St. on Friday at 9:00 AM followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10:00 AM in St. Michael Church. Internment in St. Patrick Cemetery. Calling hours Thursday 5-8 PM
