;Lore M. (Kiess) Halpin,75, of 1075 Main St., died Monday, Jan. 17 at UMASS Memorial Healthcare-Lake Ave. in Worcester.
She leaves a son John H. Halpin of Leicester, three daughters Marliese E. Dollmann of Germany, Christina S. Huard of Leicester and Linda S. Shea of Greenfield, 8 grand and one great grandaughter.
Mrs. Halpin was a longtime employee at Worcester City Hospital before retiring in 1986.
Born in Stuttgart, Germany she was the daughter of Karl and Friedricke (Ehmann) Kiess and lived here since 1956.
She was a member of the Leicester Senior Citizen Club, the Tenants Association at the Leicester Housing Authority and was a longtime volunteer and driver for FISH in Leicester.
Private graveside services in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. A memorial gathering will be held at 12p.m. on Friday, Jan. 21 in the Community Room of the Leicester Housing Authority, 1075 Main St., Leicester.
