WEST BRIDGEWATER - Daniel M. Bellamy, 34, of West Bridgewater died Monday, Jan. 17, after sustaining injuries from a snow plow in West Bridgewater. He was the husband of Susan L. (Matthew) Bellamy.
Born Feb. 6, 1970, in Boston, he was the son of the late Robert Bellamy, Dianne (Carey) Bellamy and John Perry.
Mr. Bellamy grew up in Dorchester and was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Weymouth.
He was an electrician with the IBEW Local 103 at Norfolk Electric in Quincy for 12 years.
Mr. Bellamy was very involved with the union. He had been a resident of West Bridgewater for the past five years.
In addition to his wife Susan, he is survived bt his three children, Cora Bellamy, Matthew Bellamy and Lilah Bellamy; his siblings, Tim, Cheryl and Pamela Bellamy, all of Dorchester, Bruce Bellamy of Georgia; his grandmother, Margaret Dole of Abington; a nephew, Gregory Bellamy; two nieces, Lauren and Jennifer Bellamy, and several aunts and uncles. He was also the brother of the late John Bellamy.
A memorial service will be held at Calvary Chapel, 175 Market St., Rockland, Thursday at 4 p.m., followed by a reception at IBEW Local 103 Union Hall, 256 Freeport St., Dorchester, at 6 p.m.
