Ruth C. Burbank-Folger, 90, of Nashua, NH died Sunday January 16, 2005 in the Hunt Community in Nashua. Mrs. Folger was born in Brattleboro, VT on March 30, 1914 a daughter of the late Kendrick and Mildred (Chapin) Barrington. She had resided in Nashua since 2000, formerly living in Auburn, NH for 30 years. She had also lived in Plimpton, MA. Mrs. Folger was a 1931 graduate of Pinkerton Academy in Derry. She retired from Jewell Electric in Manchester in 1978. She was a former member and taught Sunday school at the Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration in Derry. She was past Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star Ransford Chapter #3 of Derry.
She is survived by two sons, Robert B. Burbank of Endwell, NY, David N. Burbank of Lawrence, MA, six grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, also several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her first husband, Robert W. Burbank in 1968 and by her second husband, Nelson J. Folger in 1980.
Following cremation, a private memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday January 19th. Graveside services will be held in the Spring in Forest Hill Cemetery, E. Derry. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is handling arrangements.
