Born in Pirot, Serbia, 71 years ago, Branislav passed away Thursday at the Brigham and Woman's Hospital in Boston after a courageous battle with lung cancer that was first diagnosed in 2006. Arriving in the United States in 1988m first settling in Jacksonville, Florida, he along with his family settled in Malden in 1997. An enginner by profession, he received his Masters from Rubber and Plastics Polytech in London, a city he considered his most favorite to travel to. Since 1997 and until his passing, he was an engineer for Alliance Tire in Wakefield. Devoted to his family, especially his grandchildren, in his spare time he loved tennis as well as soccer.
