LOWELL—Alfred J. Beaulieu, 67 years old, died Friday morning, January 14th, at his home, after a long illness. He was the husband of Mary E. (Correia) Beaulieu, with whom he celebrated 39 years of marriage in May of 2004.
He was born in Lowell, on December 2, 1937, a son of the late Arthur and Claire (Desrosiers) Beaulieu, and was a graduate of the Lowell Public School System and Lowell High School.
Mr. Beaulieu served in the United State Army during the Vietnam Conflict. Upon his discharge, he was employed as a forklift operator by the Courier Citizen Corporation, in Lowell for over 38 years. He held membership in the East End Club, and the Club Passé Temps. He enjoyed flea markets, painting, doing puzzles, and tinkering in his workshop.
Surviving him besides his wife are a son and daughter-in-law: Al and Noelle Beaulieu, of Reading; a daughter and son-in-law: Sandra and Jaime Berrio, of Lowell; five grandchildren: Tyler and Andrew Berrio, Danielle, Samantha, and Brooke Beaulieu; also many nieces and nephews.
At his request, there will be no calling hours. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass to be offered Monday morning, January 17th, at 9 AM at the IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Tewksbury. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Jimmy Fund; 10 Brookline Place West; Brookline, MA 02445-7226.
