Mrs.Cormier was a Communicant of St. Mary's Church in So.Dartmouth. She was a member of the Dartmouth Seniors. Mrs. Cormier was formerly a molder at the Acushnet Co.
Mrs. Cormier's Funeral Mass will be Tuesday January 18, 2005
New Bedford – Maria (Pacheco) Macedo died Friday, January 14, 2004, at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the wife of the late Rubens Macedo and the mother of Ruben Macedo of Fairhaven. Mrs. Macedo had 3 grandchildren: grandson Nicholas Macedo, granddaughter Michelle Macedo and grandson Frank Macedo and a sister Maria Fernanda Jeronimo. She was the mother of the late Francisco Macedo and sister of the late Joao Paulino.
Mrs. Macedo was the daughter of the late Manuel Paulino Pacheco and Maria Pacheco. She was employed at Cornell Dubilier as a machine operator until her retirement.
Her funeral will be on Tuesday, January 18, 2005 from the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. at 9 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at St. Mary's Church, S. Dartmouth at 10 A.M. Entombment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery in Fall River,MA. Family and friends are invited. Visiting hours will be Monday from 4 to 7 P.M. at the funeral home.
