Patricia Clemons Smith, 71, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at Pruitt Health of Fitzgerald.
Graveside services will be held 11 AM, Saturday, March 7, 2015, at the Evergreen Cemetery in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Earlie Holt officiating.
Mrs. Smith was born December 23, 1943, in Fitzgerald, to the late William Barney & Annie Ruby Rogers Clemons. She was a former meat wrapper for Winn-Dixie in Opelika, Alabama. Mrs. Smith returned to the community 30 years ago. She enjoyed life and listening to music and was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by a son: Michael Smith of Fitzgerald; a granddaughter: Tracy Ann Smith of Kentucky; two sisters: Ruby Clemons of Fitzgerald and Nadine Ware of Opelika, Alabama and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters.
