North Augusta – Mrs. Helen L. Coleman, 97, widow of the late Carl Coleman, entered into rest on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at National Health Care in North Augusta.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church with Rev. Vasile Bitere officiating. Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Coleman was a very kind and generous woman, who had been a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church for 15 years. She was very active in the Ladies Society.
She is survived by her daughter, Anna M. Scott (Randy), her grandchildren, Ross Scott (Kim) and Jonathan Scott (April), and her great grandchildren, Jessica Scott, Alexa Scott, Sophie Scott and Harper Scott. She is also survived by her good friend, Gus Magoulas, and her adopted Magoulas Family; Tony, Jenny, Matthew, Jacob, Olivia, Matt, Andrea, Ben, Justin, Bradley, Gigi and Casey.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Magoulas, Jacob Magoulas, Matt Burns, Justin Balke, Bradley Balke, Tony Magoulas, Ross Scoot and Mark Herrick.
The family wishes to thank the staff at NHC, for their care and compassion. Mrs. Coleman always said, “I could never get better care than they’ve shown me here”.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening, March 4, 2015. The Trisagion will begin at 5:00 PM and the visitation will continue until 7:00PM.
