Mr. Jesse V. Stanley, Jr., of Taunton, died unexpectedly Saturday, February 28 in St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, Brighton. He was the beloved husband of Jodi L. (Preston) Stanley. He was born 46 years ago in Fall River, the son of the late Jesse V. and Howardina R. (Smith) Stanley. He was educated in Fall River and Taunton and had been a Taunton resident for most of his life. Prior to his illness, Jesse had been employed at the Christmas Tree Shops in Middleboro for 14 years. He enjoyed motorcycle riding, working on cars, and spending time with his dogs, Willow and Bandit, and his grandpuppy, Lilly.
In addition to his wife, he leaves: 1 daughter: Tiffany (Stanley) Viveiros and her husband, Christopher of Taunton; 1 sister: Elsie Narciso of Taunton, his father-in-law: William F. Preston, Jr. of Franklin, N.H.; his mother-in-law: Theresa M. Preston of Manchester, N.H.; his sisters-in-law: Melissa McDonough and her husband, Scott of Methuen, and Paula Woodward and her husband, Walter of Fall River, his brother-in-law: Jeffrtey S. Preston and his partner, Matthew Liszak of Tilton, N.H., and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Visitation will be held at The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, on Friday, March 6, from 11:30 A.M. to 1:30 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to the family.
