Bridgewater - Eleanor (Malaguti) Donati , 97, of Bridgewater died Monday, Jan. 10, at Brockton Hospital after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Elmer Donati.
Born April 7, 1907, in Italy, she was the daughter of the late Gaetano and Rose (Corvini) Malaguti.
A homemaker, Mrs. Donati had been a resident of Bridgewater for the past 80 years.
She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church.
She is survived by her children, Elmer Donati Jr. and his wife Eleanor M. of Middleboro and Doris R. Hodgdon of Florida; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Mary Monti, August Malaguti, Mando Malaguti and Virginia Granata.
Her funeral will be held at 8:15 a.m. Friday from the Prophett Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. (Rte. 18), Bridgewater, followed by a funeral Mass in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Bridgewater, at 9 a.m. Burial will be in St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery.
