Concetta Cortese, 85 of Somerville died Sunday in the Somerville Hospital after a long illness.
Born in Boston, she lived in Somerville for the past 80 years and Summered in Bourne for the past 45 years. Concetta was the daughter of the late Catherine (Formica) and Nicholas Antonuccio. She was a Button Hole maker in the Garment industry for many years and retired 20 years ago.
Beloved wife of Anthony Cortese. Devoted mother of Anthony J. Cortese and his wife Sandra M. of Pocasset, Carmen Cortese and his wife Janet of Wellesley. Loving grandmother of Michael, Christine, Catherine, Anthony and the late AJ.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Thursday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Benedict Church, 21 Hathorne St., Somerville, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oakland Grove Cemetery, Bourne.
