McKEARNEY, Edward J. 90, of Weston on February 27, 2015. Devoted husband of Suzette (Brauer) McKearney, married 64 years. Beloved father of Kathleen Kelly of West Orange, NJ; Peter J. and his wife, Leslie, of Brimfield, MA; and David P. of Eagle, CO. Also survived by five grandchildren, Jeffrey McKearney, Jamie Droskoski, Kevin McKearney, Amanda Kelly, and Leanna Kelly, and several nieces and nephews.
Edward was an officer in the US Navy during World War II, and served in the South Pacific. He was a graduate of Harvard University, class of 1946. He enjoyed singing and was a former member of the Boston Saengerfest Men's Chorus. Edward also enjoyed all Boston sports teams, and skied and played tennis well into his 80's.
