Leroy Antone "Lance" Grace, 53, of Eastpointe, MI died April 1, 2002 at home.
He was the husband of Gwenda Grace of Mt. Clemens, Michigan, and the son of Dominga (Pina) Grace of New Bedford, Mass., and the late Antone Gomes Grace.
Mr. Grace was born in New Bedford and lived in Michigan most of his life.
He was formerly employed by the Ford Motor Corporation until his retirement.
Mr. Grace served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Order of Masons Crispus Attucks Lodge 51.
Survivors include his wife; his mother; 2 sons, Shane Cosmo of New Bedford and Antone G. "Tucker" Grace of Mt. Clemens; 2 daughters, Veronica S. Grace and Michelle Grace, both of Mt. Clemens; 2 granddaughters, Tania M. Grace and Cheyenne Cosmo; a brother, Robert Grace of Avon, Ohio; 5 sisters, Brenda Young of St. Louis, Missouri; Andrea Grace of Randolph, Mass., Kathy Grace of New Bedford, and Saundra Grace and Rene Grace, both of Denver, Colorado; and a host of family and friends.
