Loyd Benson House, age 80, passed away in Yalobusha County General Hospital on Thursday, January 6, 2005 following a lenghty stay in the Yalobusha County Nursing Home. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Coffeeville Church Of Christ. Mr. House also served our country during WW II in the U.S. Navy.
The family will receive friends at visitation services on Saturday, January 8, 2005 at Seven Oaks Funeral Home from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be in Henry Chapel at Seven Oaks Funeral Home on Sunday afternoon at 2:00 PM with Brother Don Roberson officiating. Burial will be in Fords Well Cemetery
Survivors include his wife, Edith Jackson House of Water Valley: daughter, Barbara Baxter of Memphis,TN : one sister, Joan Savage of Harve, MT: three brothers, Albert House, Jr. and Dewitt House of Water Valley and Dennis Ray House of Memphis, TN : four Grandchildren and four Great-grandchildren.
Mr. House was preceded in death by one daughter, Pam House Thacker; one son, Loyd Emmerson "Sonny" House; and his parents Albert and Jettie Shepherd House.
