NORTON – Francisco C. Brito, husband of Maria “Eugenia” (Figueiredo) Brito, of Norton, died at Morton Hospital on Feb. 25, 2015.
He was 68.
Born in Terceira, Azores, he was the son of the late Francisco and Maria Rosario (Corvelo) Brito DeSilva.
He was a veteran of the Portuguese Army.
Employed as a molder for the D.W. Clark Co. of East Bridgewater, Mr. Brito enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Besides his wife of forty-two years, he leaves a daughter, Jessica M. Brito of Norton; two brothers, Manuel DeBrito of Taunton and Joseph DeSilva of RI; two sisters, Iva Gomes of Taunton and Maria Manuela Medeiros of Fall River; a grandson, Dante L. Costa-Brito of Norton; and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway on Monday, March 2nd at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at St. Anthony Church at 10 a.m.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, March 1st from 4 to 7 p.m.
