Dorothy Ann (Wilson) Stokes Singleton, 93, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Rockford Manor.
Born in Bell County, Kentucky she was a sales clerk for the old Kaufman Strauss Department Store, a current member of New Salem Baptist Church and former member of Audubon Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Virgil Allen Stokes; and her second husband, Charles Edwin Singleton.
Dorothy is survived by her loving children, Carol Sue Wahl, Allen Wayne Stokes (Lana); and two grandsons, Brent Allen Stokes and Chuck Wahl.
Her funeral service will be 11:00 am Saturday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy with burial at Elmwood Cemetery in Mt. Vernon, Kentucky. Visitation will be 2:00 to 8 pm Friday.
