WORCESTER-Leo J. Charbonneau, 91, of 12 Westbrook Circle, died Wednesday, January 5th in Radius Health Care Center in Millbury. He leaves a niece Susan M. Laflamme of Millbury and a great nephew Jeffrey O. Laflamme of Uxbridge. A brother Omer Charbonneau and a sister Anna Charbonneau predeceased him.
He was born in Worcester the son of Wilfred and Delia (Rheaume) Charbonneau, and was a graduate of Worcester State Teachers College. Mr. Charbonneau was a World War 2 Army veteran. He had been a teacher for 31 years in the Worcester Public School system, retiring in 1977. Mr. Charbonneau was an avid golfer.
The funeral is Friday, January 7th with a Mass at 9:30 AM in St. Joseph’s Church, 35 Hamilton Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
