Obituary

WORCESTER-Leo J. Charbonneau, 91, of 12 Westbrook Circle, died Wednesday, January 5th in Radius Health Care Center in Millbury. He leaves a niece Susan M. Laflamme of Millbury and a great nephew Jeffrey O. Laflamme of Uxbridge. A brother Omer Charbonneau and a sister Anna Charbonneau predeceased him.

He was born in Worcester the son of Wilfred and Delia (Rheaume) Charbonneau, and was a graduate of Worcester State Teachers College. Mr. Charbonneau was a World War 2 Army veteran. He had been a teacher for 31 years in the Worcester Public School system, retiring in 1977. Mr. Charbonneau was an avid golfer.

The funeral is Friday, January 7th with a Mass at 9:30 AM in St. Joseph’s Church, 35 Hamilton Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Red Cross, Disaster Relief Fund, P. O. Box 37243, Washington, D.C. 20013.
