BOSTON – David E. Steffen, 47, of Roxbury, MA, passed away suddenly, but peacefully in his sleep at his home.
Born in Malden, MA, August 23, 1967, he was the son of Julia J. (Marino) Steffen and the late Carl E. Steffen. He was educated and raised in Lawrence, MA and had been a resident of Roxbury for the past 10 years.
David was formerly employed as a laborer at Bath Iron Works in Bath, Maine. He had a great passion for music and everything about it. He especially enjoyed attending live music concerts. He was very creative and had a talent for art. He enjoyed fishing, camping and the New England Patriots. He found peace and joy when spending time with his large family. Even at the most difficult times he always found a way to keep laughing, which was contagious. Although he had very little, he was always willing to give a hand to help a friend or neighbor in need.
We are forever grateful for the short time he shared on this earth with us. He will live forever in our hearts. He has filled our hearts with memories we will treasure forever
