Richard A. Scioli Sr., 48 of Peabody formerly of Somerville died Tuesday unexpectedly in the Lahey Clinic Peabody, MA.
Born in Medford, he was raised in Somerville and moved to Peabody in 1975.
Richard was a General Manager, employed by Line Auto Supply Malden for 31 years.
Richard was the president of the Appian Club in Stoneham, a member of the I.A.C.C. in Malden, and was very active in softball for many years in the Somerville and Malden area and played for the over 40 league. Richard was also a member of the Italian Heritage Committee in Stoneham for the past 3 years.Mr. Scioli was the beloved husband of Kathleen (Wallace) Scioli of Peabody. Devoted father of Kristen Scioli and Richard A. Scioli Jr. both of Peabody. Cherished son of Antoinette Scioli of Somerville and the late Alexander Scioli. Brother of Ronald Scioli and his wife Carol of Peabody, Robert Scioli and his wife Linda of Winchester. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10 AM in St. Adelaide, 708 Lowell St., Peabody with the Rev. John C. Chaisson officiating.
Interment will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
Friends may visit Friday from 4 thru 8 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford.
