Kimra Lorene (Anderson) Graves, 40, of Newton, who was the director of Events for Cambridge Energy Research Assoc., died along with her twins Brett and Andrew on Fri. Dec 31, 2004 at the Newton Wellesley Hospital.
Born in Ft. Benning GA, her formative years were spent in Enterprise, AL, where she graduated from Enterprise High School. She received her BA in Political Science from the University of the South in Sewanne TN. She had served Presidents Ronald Reagan and George H. Bush in their press offices preparing and delivering press releases and had also served on the fundraising campaign for the Reagan Library, and on the platform committee for the Republican National Convention. She had lived in Belmont and Newton and had been an active member of the Eliot Church in Newton.
Kimra, Brett and Andrew are survived by their husband and father Steven H. Graves, children and siblings Briley and Colin, parents and grandparents Wanda Beasley Graffeo and M. Darryl Anderson, brother and uncle Derek Miles Anderson and his wife Tonya. They are also survived by many aunts’ uncles and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Monday Jan 3, 2005 at 11 AM in the Eliot Church in Newton 474 Centre St. Newton Corner. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours will be in the Eaton & Mackay Funeral Home 465 Centre St. Newton Corner on Sun from 5-8 PM.A funeral service will be held on Wed Jan 5, 2005 at 2 PM in the Nave Funeral Home 11 Main St. Erin TN. Interment will follow at McIntosh Cemetery.
