Comeau, of Brockton, April 2, 2002, Gladys “Betty” (Walsh) Comeau, 74 years. Loving wife of Robert F. Comeau, mother of Carol Grossi of Waltham, Linda Glover of Port Orange, FL, Susan Janson of Attleboro, Nancy Rodriguez, Diane LaRose and Joseph Comeau all of Brockton, Joanne Plant of N. Attleboro, Roberta Comeau of Plymouth and her step children Kathy Conners of Monroeville, OH, Carol Comeau of Easton, Robert Comeau of Shirley, Richard Comeau of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Bernice Comeau of Pompano Beach, FL. She also leaves 39 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held in the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, (Rte 123) Brockton, Saturday at 11am. Burial will take place at a later date in the Massachusetts National Cemetery. Visiting Hours Friday 2-4 and 7-9pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1115 W. Chestnut St., Ste 301, Brockton, MA 02301.

Mrs. Comeau died April 2, 2002, at the Brockton Hospital after a long battle with Cancer. She was born and raised in Watertown, MA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Esther L. (Kelly) Walsh. She attended Watertown schools and was a graduate of Watertown High School. Mrs. Comeau and her husband Robert retired to Port Orange, FL where they had been residents for 15 years, returning to Brockton this past year. She enjoyed bingo and playing cards.
She is survived by her husband Robert F.
