Edwin F. “Buster” Wells Jr., passed away at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center of Burlington, on December 29, after a brief illness, he was sixty-nine years old.
A life long Woburn resident he was the son of the late Helen (Bennett) and Edwin F. Wells. He graduated from Woburn High School and later enlisted in the US Marine Corps during the Korean War. He has worked for many years for Joseph´s Transportation of Medford and enjoyed volunteering for Woburn’s elderly and mental handicapped. Mr. Wells particularly, enjoyed bowling, music, and being with his friends at Suffolk Downs Race Track.
He is survived by his three sons, Gary of Woburn, Edwin F. III, of Stoneham and Scott Wells of Rochester, NH., and a brother Robert Wells of Old Orchard Beach, Maine.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with the family on Tuesday morning, January 4, from 9:30 to 11 AM., at the Mclaughlin – Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St. Woburn. A graveside service will follow at Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.
