Catherine Campbell
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Monday, February 16, 2015, Mrs. Catherine M. Campbell, 85, loving wife to the late LTC John C. Campbell (Ret US Army).
Mrs. Campbell was a native of Hamilton, OH but has been part of the Augusta community for over 39 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Although quiet, she was an active member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church and enjoyed bowling, bingo and traveling throughout her years as a military wife and into her later years until her passing.
Family members include her children: Karen Davis (Tom), Robin Williams (Rick), John Campbell (Susan), David Campbell (Margaret); 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and brother: Cecil Baker (Martha). In addition to her husband, her brother, Earl Baker, precedes her in death.
In Augusta the family will receive friends Thursday, February 19, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M at Thomas Poteet and Son.
Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home in Hamilton, OH. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Memorials would be appreciated to the Salvation Army or American Red Cross.
