SPENCER: Annette M.E.(Guertin) Converse, of Main St., Spencer died Friday, Feb. 13 at UMASS-Memorial Hospital in Worcester.
She leaves her son Louis A. Graziano of Spencer, her daughter Lisa A. (Bullard) McCarthy of Worcester, two brothers Raymond Guertin and his wife Janet of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Roger Guertin of Cupertino, CA, two granddaughters Isabelle M. & Gabrielle E. McCarthy of Worcester, 2 nieces and a nephew and many loved cousins in Quebec, Canada.
Annette was a paralegal for 20 years, retiring from the law firm of Proctor, Rasnick & Goewey in Worcester in 1997.
Born in Spencer, she was the daughter of Antonio "Tony" and Edna (Berthiaume) Guertin and later graduated from Maria Assumpta Academy in Petersham. She had a sense of adventure and traveled the world, but loved being at home the most crocheting, working in the yard, planting flowers and enjoying her pool. She was a longtime member of the former St. Mary’s Parish in Spencer.
A Memorial Mass will be held Thursday, Feb. 19th. at 11a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Mary, Queen of the Rosary Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Spencer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 147, Spencer, MA 01562.
