Delina “Lil” (Pacheco) Barboza. Age 86. Wife of Leonell “Leo” Barboza. Residence 1748 Highland Ave. formerly of 34 Whipple St. Fall River, MA. Died Thursday (December 30, 2004) in Fall River at Highlander Nursing Home. Born in Fall River. Daughter of the late Emmanuel Pacheco and the late Emily (Paiva) Pacheco. She was a resident of Fall River for 20 years and previously lived in North Dartmouth. Before retiring she was employed as a cafeteria worker at Southeastern Massachusetts University for 15 Years. She was a member St. George Church in Westport.
Besides her Husband of Westport, she is survived by 3 Daughters: Alicia Hall of Prince Frederick, MD. Elizabeth Pond of Fall River, MA, Carol Miller of New Bedford, MA. 7 Grandchildren and 4 Great-grandchildren, Several Nieces and Nephews. She was the sister of the late Mary (Pacheco) Paradise.
Her Funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 North Main Street on Monday at 7:45 A.M. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. George Church, Highland Road, Westport at 9 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours Sunday 1-4 P.M.
