Lisa Louise Choiniere, age 53 ascended into the journey of everlasting life from her home in the presence of her loving family and her PCAs on Feb 6, 2015. Lisa is now reunited in Heaven with her parents Louis A. Jr., and Yvette (Cote) Choiniere and her nephew Justin. Lisa was born in Holyoke on Aug 31st, 1961. She was a graduate of Chicopee Comp High School. She was an avid bingo player at the Castle of the Knights in Chicopee. She was a member of the Human Rights Commission at MCS. She worked as a file clerk for a few years before she had to go on disability. Lisa became a volunteer at the Dakin Center because of her love of animals. She will be greatly missed by her loving family. She leaves four brothers, Alan and his wife AnnMarie of NH, Paul and his wife Janet of Hadley, Kenneth of Chicopee and John (who helped Lisa maintain her independent living) and his fiancée Kathy Matroni, both of Feeding Hills. She leaves her only sister, Marie Bienvenue and her life partner Albert Gagliarducci (Al Gag) both of Wilbraham. She also leaves many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She also leaves her beloved cat, Honey. Lisa always considered her PCAs to be not only her friends but also part of her family. At this time the family would like to thank all the PCAs who cared for her over the years but especially Michele, Gloria, Jennifer, Anne and Kristen who gave her the love and care that allowed her to stay in her home. Calling hours will be held on the morning of the funeral, Wed., Feb.11, 2015 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee followed by a Mass of Christian Liturgy at 11 a.m. in St Anthony of Padua Church. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
