Toula C. (Sackley) Stasinos, 83, peacefully passed away at the Newfield House on February 5th. She was predeceased by her late husband of over 50 years, Charles J. Stasinos.
Born July 2, 1931, daughter of Charles Paul Sackley and Vivian (Sclavounous) Sackley in Portland, Maine; where she grew up and graduated from Portland High School after which she and her parents moved to Allston, Massachusetts. Toula moved to Plymouth, Massachusetts after marrying Charles.
Toula is survived by her three children. Her son James C. Stasinos and his wife Trish of Plymouth, their sons Charles J. Stasinos and his wife Kendall of Northborough, MA; Nicholas J. Stasinos and his daughter Chloe of Plymouth, Jonathan M. Stasinos, his daughter Brinn of West Roxbury, James C. Stasinos of Weymouth, Tyler B. Stasinos of Plymouth. Her daughter Carol A. Stasinos of South Carolina and her sons Spencer Charles Evatt and Ross Gaines Evatt of Spartanburg, SC. Her son Paul C. Stasinos and his wife Patti A. Stasinos of Plymouth and their children Haley Stasinos of San Francisco, Sara Stasinos of San Fransisco and Peter Stasinos of Plymouth. Toula is also survived by two older brothers, Paul C. Sackley and his wife Doris Sackley of Rockford, IL and George Sackley of Windham, NH.
Toula was a member of the Plymouth Yacht Club and enjoyed many years of boating with her husband and family. She was an active member of the Plymouth Garden Club, and enjoyed gardening, was an avid reader, loved animals, was passionate about playing the piano, especially classical music and most of all loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, February 10th from 5 to 7 PM at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St (Rt 3A), N. Plymouth. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 11th at Christ Episcopal Church in Plymouth at 10 AM followed by burial at Vine Hills Cemetery in Plymouth.
