David G. "Dave" Coomer, 73, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2015 at his residence.
He was born in Barren County, KY. To Villar & Sarah (Barvard) Coomer.
David was a retired employee of Carbon Graphite, with 20 years service and had worked at Brown Williamson Co. for 14 years.
He was an avid fisherman and Kentucky Fan.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, his loving wife of 35 years, Mary Catherine (Hickerson) Coomer, and 3 Brothers and a Sister.
Survivors include his children: Kimberly Herdt, Debra Leake, Kenny Wright and Michael Wright; Ten Grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren;
Two Brothers: Charles Coomer (Darlene) and Joe Coomer (Candy); Two Sisters: Melissa Gay and Frances Welch (Mark).
Funeral Services will be held at 12 Noon Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy.
Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday 2:00 – 8:00 PM and Monday 9:00 AM – 12 Noon.
