TEWKSBURY - Mr. Walter V. Sullivan , 66, passed away Tuesday February 3rd at Saints Campus of Lowell General Hospital.
Walter was born in Boston, Massachusetts on December 26, 1948 a son of the late Vincent and Laura(Walsh) Sullivan. Loving husband to the late Patricia (Murphy) Sullivan who passed away on June 11, 2011.
Walter was a graduate of Jamaica Plain High School, class of 1966. He served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War.
Upon his return, he owned and operated Sullivan and Sons Flooring Company for over thirty –six years.
Walter loved being with his family, shooting pool, and fishing.
He is survived by his four children, Michael Sullivan and his wife Andrea of Methuen, Lisa Duggan and her husband Jonathan of Tewksbury, James Sullivan and his wife Kathleen of Cortland, N.Y., and Walter J. Sullivan of Tewksbury; a sister, Patricia Morrow of Weymouth; four grandchildren, Jaylin Sparks, Evan Sullivan, Brady Sullivan, and Ryan Sullivan; also many nieces and nephews.
SULLIVAN - Visiting hours are Friday, February 6th, 4:00pm to 7:00pm in the Tewksbury Funeral Home, corner of 1 Dewey St and 975 Main St (Rt38) TEWKSBURY CENTER, phone(800 in MA or 978) 851-2950. His Funeral will begin Saturday, February 7th at 9:00am from the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10am in St William Church 1351 Main St. Tewkbury. Burial will be private.
