Obituary

Frederick P. Casey of Natick passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at the Oak Knoll Healthcare Center of Framingham. He was sixty-three years old and the owner of Casey’s Diner in Natick.

Born and raised in Natick, he graduated from Natick High School in 1970. Fred started working at the family business when he was ten years old and continued the tradition at Casey’s for over thirty years.

He enjoyed traveling, thoroughbred horse racing and visiting Saratoga in the summer.

Fred was the cherished son of Barbara A. (Chisholm) Casey of Natick and the late Joseph P. Casey.

He was the devoted husband of Janet M. (Horrigan) Casey of Natick and they shared twenty-seven years of marriage.

A loving father of Patrick J. Casey and his wife Lynne of Ashland and the late Michael Casey.

Loving Grampy of Michelle, Anna and Ella Casey.

Caring brother of Allan Casey of Natick, Diane Boudreau and her husband Daniel also of Natick and the late Peter Casey.

Also survived by his loving brother and sister-in-laws; John Horrigan of Natick, Judy Palmer and her husband Cam of Uxbridge, JoAnn Boudreau and her husband Gary of Bellingham, Jean Wogan and her husband Glen of Framingham, Joyce Horrigan of Natick and James Horrigan and his wife Jean of Hopkinton. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Fred’s funeral will be held from the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St., at Natick Common on Monday, February 9th at 9:00AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Patrick Church, 44 E. Central St., Natick at 10:00AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.

Visiting hours Sunday, February 8th from 4:00-7:00PM in the funeral home. Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery, Natick.
