Obituary

Lynne Doris(Wilson) Meleleu
The colors of the rainbow so pretty and so bright….
Lynne passed away on February 3, 2015. Born in Fall River MA she was a 1958 graduate of Durfee High School.
A devoted wife, mother, and friend. Lynne’s life was truly a celebration of color and whirl wind experiences. Her marriage to recently deceased Gene created an inseparable duo that brought love and joy to their family and friends. Whether traveling the world, or stroking a canvas, she always had a smile.
After supporting her military husband for more than twenty years of moving vans and storage boxes, they settled in Scituate establishing true community roots. Lynne, an amazingly gifted artist, established her business LYN~ART Studios, in Greenville, where she painted, she framed, she guided and she taught. She truly found life through the works of her many talented students. They were not just students of art, they were her friends. As a member of The Providence Art Club, Lynne was always learning, always trying new things and always meeting friends. Her friends and family were truly the colors of her rainbow.
Lynne is survived by her sons Ronald G. Meleleu of Scituate and Daniel J. Meleleu, his wife Irene and their daughter, Rachael of Cumberland and her brother Norman Wilson of West Melbourne, FL.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10AM at St. Joseph’s Church, Danielson Pike, North Scituate. Burial will follow in Acotes Hill Cemetery, Chepachet. Visitation will be held Friday 4-7PM in the Anderson Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Wounded Warriors.
