Obituary

Arthur DeAngelis, 85 of Medford died Tuesday in the Glen Ridge Nursing Care Center Medford.
Born in Boston, he lived in Boston’s North End until moving to Medford 20 years ago and was the son of the late Anna (DeSimone) and Marino DeAngelis.

Arthur worked for the City of Boston in the Water and Sewer Department for many years and retired in 1984. He also was a late U.S. Army veteran of WW II and served from 1942 to 1945.

Beloved husband of Carmella “Mildred” (Picariello). Devoted father of Ann Denning and her husband Jerry of Medford. Brother of Joseph DeAngelis and his wife Frances of Arlington and the late Ernest DeAngelis. Aslo survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Friday at 10 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 2 - 4 and 7 – 9.
Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
