Doris I. Misiaszek, 97, of Londonderry, NH passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at the Pleasant Valley Nursing Center, Derry surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 13, 1917 in Derry, NH a daughter of the late Eugene and Denise (Bergeron) Goyette. She was a member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxillary. Doris enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, quilting, making braided rugs and crafts in general. She also enjoyed playing cards and word search puzzles. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her two sons, Peter Misiaszek of Little River, SC and David Misiaszek of The Villages, FL; two daughters, Jean Meyers and Pauline Elliott, both of Londonderry, 13 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Edward Misiaszek in 1986.
There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Monday, February 9, 2015 at 10:00am in the St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Crystal Avenue Derry. Burial followed in Holy Cross Cemetery, Londonderry. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pleasant Valley Nursing Center, 8 Peabody Road, Derry, NH 03038, Attn: Activities Director. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry is assisting the family with arrangements.
