SCANLAN, Catherine (McIntyre) Of Jamaica Plain formerly of Roxbury, Jan. 30th. Beloved wife of the late Paul W. Scanlan. Loving mother of Jacqueline of So. Boston, Tammy "Kathy" of Jamaica Plain & So. Boston, Mark of Jamaica Plain and the late Michael Scanlan. Sister of Florence Whitney of Houghs Neck, Lorraine McVicar of Enfield, NH, Bernard McIntyre of Austin TX, Finley McIntyre of Stoughton, Jacqueline Boland of Chino, CA and the late Cecelia "Peachy" Rankin and Theresa Spruill. Grandmother of Emmett Scanlan. Also survived by her loving cats Reed & Matilda. Late member of the Jamaica Plain Post #76 Ladies Auxiliary. Late employee of twenty years at the Hebrew Rehabilitation where she worked in the Dietary office. Catherine was also known for her great generosity to family and friends especially to the Veterans Organizations.
Funeral from the P.E. Murray-F.J. Higgins-George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 2000 Centre St., WEST ROXBURY, Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 90 South St, Jamaica Plain at 10 o'clock.
