CAPE ELIZABETH - Joanne Scontras, 83, died peacefully at home on Feb. 2, 2015, surrounded by her husband, son and daughter. She was born in Portland, the daughter of Alfred and Margaret (Bacon) McKay.Joanne is survived by her husband of nearly 60 years, Charles Scontras of Cape Elizabeth; as well as her son Dan Scontras of Boston, Mass., and daughter Dianna Scontras, her husband Jeff Topliff and grandchildren, Jack, Sam and Lindsay of Stow, Ohio. She also leaves several nieces, nephews, cousins; and countless close friends she touched throughout her life.
