Obituary

Alma Bell Hart, age 88, passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2004 at the Yalobusha County Nursing Home.

She was retired from clerical work in various offices at the Yalobusha County Courthouse, including Mary Sue Stevens' Circuit Clerk's office and Sheriff L. A. Jones' office. For many many years she was a Sunday School Teacher at the First Baptist Church where she was a faithful lifetime member. Alma enjoyed her Jack Of Diamonds Bridge Club and the meetings of The Yalobusha County Historical Society. She was a member of the DAR and of Decendants of George Washington.

The family will receive friends begining at 2:00 PM , one hour prior to the 3:00 PM funeral service at Seven Oaks Funeral Home. She will be buried at Oak Hill Cemetery in Water Valley by the side of her beloved husband H. H. "Buddy" Hart.

Brother Keith Stevens will officate at the 3:00 PM service and pallbearers are: Casey Hart, Dr. King Bell, Larry Hart, Craig Hart, Jerry Wilbourn and Steve Edwards. Honorary pallbearer will be Larry Bell.

Survivors include: Two sons, John Keith Hart and William Cary Hart both of Water Valley: A daughter, Susan H. Turner of Water Valley: One brother, Lee Bell, Jr. of Water Valley and four grandchildren, Casey Hart of Houston, TX, Scarlett and Hillary Hart of Water Valley and Chris Rico of Hawaii.

Alma was preceded in death by her husband, H.H. "Buddy" Hart (Nov. 11, 1985) and her parents, Lee Rowland Bell and Myrtie Mae Knooce Bell.
